Just bought my SVTC last week. Lovin it, but I wanted to add Ford Racing parts.

I went to the www.teamfordparts.com site and tried to look for SVTC parts, but was unsuccessful.

Does anyone have a Ford Racing parts list for the SVTC that I could look up?

Thanks in advance, for the help.

ford racing doesnt actually make parts for our cars. the last contour was built 10yrs ago. the only stuff that works on our cars are the generic stuff. like guages, wheels for the focus(that happens to be the same for ours), and maybe sparkplug wires. i dont even believe thats made anymore.

Even when new, spark plug wires and a shift knob are all that I remember from the Ford Racing Catalog for our cars. Ford Racing really didn't support our engine or the car for that matter. They unofficially viewed our cars as a dead end car. It suffered in Dearborn from "not invented here" as it is basically a European design (slightly altered Mondeo).

thats really depressing...

But not all is lost. There are people here that support our cars with performance parts. Hang around and you will see them mentioned in posts often enough. Two that come to mind are Nautaulis and Sho Shop.

Still another source that supports our cars is BAT (British American Transfer). You can find their catalog at www.batinc.net

Also check out the Group Buy section for deals that CEG members have found and share.

what's funny about this? SHO Shop has a awesome reputation and they are always trying to better the aftermarket for the SHO, countour and cougar.

where have you been? sho shop has been out of business for years now, only way to get sho shop parts for the contour is to find them used.

Where do these people come from? What parts did SHO Shop even have for a Contour? A rear strut tower brace and subframe connectors. When was the last time anyone bought a part from them?

This is the only site I could find. http://www.shoshop.com

Nothing about Contours or Cougars.:help:

i'm really sorry. i've done this like 4 times now. i get SHO Shop and SHOSource confused. i don't know why. sorry.
however SHO Source has some good stuff for the Contour and Cougar.

shoshop is DEAD. it has been. trust me. i've been around shoshop stuff for years now. my SHO had almost every shoshop piece they made. back in the day they sold upper and lower intakes for SVT contours, an intake, subframe connectors, and thats about it.

SHOSHOP is now owned by a sho enthusiast and they just bought the rights to the site and keep it open for old shoshop information use. no products are being produced or sold, nor have they been, for about 7 years now.

Well actually they sold Rear sway bars...suspension components. Sho-shop pulley kits from alt to under drive. Front and rear strut braces. They also were selling Optomized throttle bodies. THe show-shop lim. Cold air intakes. Ignition wires.
Sho-shop y-pipe and also a catback exhaust system. Upgraded brake lines and brakes.

They had everything possible for these cars. They even had a 3.0L built with all these modifications done to it. It was even in a magazine. I believe it was fast fords. They claimed a 230whp car too.

They were going to provide a 3.0L transplant option also.

But..they are dead so. Don't bother looking any of the contour stuff up on their site.
