Top Gear Mondeo ST220

i like how he says the vauxhall is "quicker" than a bmw m5. i'm gonna assume cause the top speed is 161, vs the 155 speed limiter on the bimmer - but that's the dumbest thing i've ever heard. the m5 will do 155 before the vauxhall hits 80!
 
they cut the ending off!!! i wanted to see where that vexal (sp?) went!! hah

damn ford and their british cars :mad:

clarkson is a douchebag.........that is all. how does he say that they build better muscle cars....what a dumbass........the little dude is the only one with some sense

Quicker, NOT faster! The Vauxhall will hit the same 155 mph as the BMW, but it will get there sooner.

Remember, quick = time to reach a certain speed; fast = top speed
 
I have watched this episode so many times.

I loved the comparision between the DB9 and the ST220, and that its actually more exclusive to drive a new ST220 then it is to drive a DB9.

Although, I think a DB9 would be a tad bit better ^.^

Ah, he's just trying to compare apples to oranges. To him a muscle car does everything - not just goes fast in a straight line. He's just confusing the term and believes that not only the engine should be muscular but so should the brakes and suspension. This is not to say that many of today's muscle cars aren't all around performers but he obviously had a problem with the 300C he tested.

Should have got one when in November some dealership sold them at 30% off MSRP, brand new 06 models!

but he says the same thing about every American car.....doesn't matter how good it is he find something wrong and blow it way out of perportion . Like when he reviewed the CTS-V. They race dit against an S4 with a pro driving the S4 and Clarkson is the caddy. The caddy won. Still he said the car was cheap and it was 2 big?....it was not much bigger than the S4 and still beat it. i mean he finds the smallest thing possible to make it look bad.

It's the Mazda 6 MPS. All of the hot Mazdas over there get the MPS badge...I'm not sure why, although I suspect it may partly be because "speed" is a bad word throughout so much of Britain.

I *love* the ST220.
