Im about to head to out get the spring compressor. And wheel my jetta body out of the garage. Could use some info or a how too change the springs. I am putting the new springs. Today!

It's pretty straightforward in terms of using the compressors, just put them about 180 degrees apart from one another and go back and forth tightening them down until the spring is loose in the strut. Biggest piece of advice would be to loosen the top nut of the strut (don't remove! just break loose) while the car is on the ground and certainly before you remove the strut from the car. It's much easier to remove when nothing else can turn. Good luck, and take your time and be safe.

Found that helped a lot. Thanks got it done. Nice to drive with no clunks and strange sounds again. Found another broken spring that was snapped on the top and bottom. And one spring is like new. Thanks ford for only replacing one on the recall
