will cougar rear shocks work?

i want to save up for a koni/gc. or d2/ksport. and at the moment my rear shock and springs are sagging. so i found a v6 cougar and a 4cylinder cougar near by that still have the shocks on it. am i able to just do a direct swap.

If it's a 1999 or 2000 model year Cougar, yes, the rears should be a direct swap. There is no difference between the V6 and I4 model suspension.

The shocks are the same from 99-02 but the top mounting plate is different in the 01-02 Cougars.

Stuff gets moved here all the time. I think the Mods are smoking the refer lately.
