3L swap info

Yeah - you live in the state that has one of the best 3L swap crews on CEG... My car is a 3L swap done by Blackcoog and D9 - good folks to know.

i removed / installed your engine too kyle!

I'm not denying it - I just said that they have a TON of experience swapping engines for customers, you don't do it for a side-living.

For TRicker's credit, we hauled ass and had my motor out, headers on, 8lb flywheel on, SPEC 3+ on and the motor in, out, and in again and back to work starting Sat and finishing Sun.

I still owe ya one man - let me know if you need help on any of your projects.

yeah kyle. your gonna be helping me get my bumper off and on when i get it painted, help me put the mirko on, and help me swap hoods this spring. since those projects take more than two hands.

Just call me up - I need to do the bumper dance when I get mine painted as well

Has anyone figured how to install a V8 yet?

what do you mean, they drop right in and bolt right up without any modification to anything. We just dont put them in cause we want to keep our good gas milage we get outta the V6s.

Why do you need a V8. Bolt on a turbo and you will get more power than you will get traction for less money than you would spend fabbing mounts and subframes for a V8

I've seen pictures of V8 Cougars for race applications, but other than that nobody else has. As stated above why do you want a V8? Get a supercharger or turbo on the V6 and you'll have more power than this chassis can handle.
