well I was adviced by a Capitol CEG member to post my question here. How/who can do my y-pipe optimization? If any of you live in the DC metro area, and have done yours in a local shop, can you tell me a place where I can check? And also how much money am I looking at?
If not, I was told that some CEG'rs make the optimization, and I can get one off them, then send mine back for some kind of core charge...anyone knows about that? Thanks.

I'm looking for one, as well. I heard that PRT (pole120's company) does them, but I'm not sure. I won't be doing this till spring, but would still like to know who does it.

actually 'Duratec Performance' might the proper forum...but I think to get that done go to some muffler guys, guys who do exhaust and muffler only, if you read up on the how-to you'll know what needs to be done, so form there suggest or ask if the muffler guys can do that for you OR... buy an optimized y-pipe from BAT, the first option might not cost as much...

you could try yourself but it may not be the time to go under the car because the it's so cold but you could try.

I would think it wouldonly cost about 100 bucks to get it optimized. If you can find a shop to do it. If not...i also have one for sale.(see sig.)

Try around $50 for most places. Unless it takes their shop guys an hour and a half to grind something down and weld it back together....then i wouldn't ever go back there again.
