Wierd volt change

Sorry if this is a re post but has anyone ever experienced the lights flickering, My car has been doing it ever since i installed a (new) re manufactured alternator, I have checked the wiring and the belt tension and both seem good, i did the battery check and it turned out OK, didn't know if this means i have a bum alt or something else, I have a volt gauge on my pillar and it will jump constantly from 14.2 to about 14.5 and always bounce back and fourth and sometimes it will drop down no 13.5 or so for no reason at idle, both headlights and interior lights flicker.

I know there is some sort of wire fix but dont know if this is whats its for,

so off idle all of your lights flicker and the volt guage bounces around? bad alternator, get another.

I have been having the same problem, no lights flickering though. The gas light will go on and the tach with bounce all over and them back up again. Its very speratic. Any ideas? I guess probably an alternator issue. Thanks.

check the grounds/ wires possibly melted,grounding themselves.

yes check your grounds and all electrical connections to make sure they are good. it maybe the cluster itself going bad. iirc when the gas light starts coming on randomly it is the cluster itself going bad.
