Taurus Starter?

The starter in my Contour just went out, and I was wondering if the starter from a Taurus will work?

Part Numbers from Ford:

Contour - SA898RM
Taurus - SA896RM

So then which starter do people with a 3L use?

Crazy enough, 2 days after my starter goes out, my Dad's goes out.:crazy:

People still use the Contour starter when they do a 3L because it bolts to the transmission not the engine.
