Well i did a complete tune up plugs wires oil cleaned maf egr and some misc conections and i still cant figure out why it intermitintly misfires on 5 not all the time but often about every day so i clear the code reset the pcm for and hour or so and it runs fine all is well then it does it again dont know what to do with this could it be the fuel injection causing misfire, or the coil or the tune i got from sct i dont know....? help if you can it would be greatly apreciated guys.....

You're sure that the plug wire "clicked" onto the spark plug? I replaced my wires the other day and got a misfire because one didnt click and hold like the others did.

Yea i think i might have an issue with that ill take a look tomarrow im not sure how to check tho.......honestly i dont think their connecting all the way and i just got those plug wires about a month ago and i thought they were a little weird.....if i do replace them should i use just stock oem wires or try to make myne work i dont know......

Do you still have the wires that did work? Look down in one and see how far the connector is from the end of the boot. That was the issue with mine and a quick tug with some needle nosed pliers pulled it down enough to lock on securely.

well neeldnose here i come i spent a pennie or to on those volt hog wires wish i would have got different ones .......Thanks guys for all you help...

maybe you have garbage plug wires?

no, I just replaced them like a couple months ago, it had the same hesitation right after I installed the wires.

Time to pull them off and check how far down in the boot the connector is. Like I said, a quick tug with some needle nosed pliers and you'll get it to click on no problem.

yep i just had to go through all the sensors everything just completed nice maintance job on it check it all...check the coil, fuel presure....ect  its alot of work but it pays off just make sur you also clean the egr maf tb....Good luck

I just got a can of MAF cleaner so that and the TB will be the next two things I clean up without tearing apart the engine yet.
