Trying to figure out which Pan/pickup to use and when i search i find different answers

I have an 05' 3L sable engine dropping in my SVT

Which pan should i use(pickup used will be to match pan), I would like to just leave the stock pan on so i dont have to change anything, but will my y-pipe still fit or will it hit the pan? which is best to use?

Thanks in advance

on the taurus/sable motors i believe you have to drill to holes in the "wings" to bolt the tranny to. its not difficult just gotta do it. i know this is true with 01-03 taurus/sable engines dont know if they changed it at some point.

thats what i've read, but i also have read that the 2 bolts that wont work for the transmission, dont matter. Blackcoog has said he usually leaves the two bolts out and has had no issues

this is true. i am running 2 bolts down on my car with no issues so far (20K). i have different bolts not in but you see the point. id just drill them cause it only takes a few minutes. easy. but it is nothing to fret over.
