dose this really work

It can help on certain cars but ours, no.

Grounding from the factory on these cars is very good. It has been discussed on the old forums.

If you want it you can get one on ebay for 50$ not 250. I got one and it fixed the blinking light problem and started better. No real power gain but better mileage and better starting and less light problem.

20cougar00 would your lights blink or get demmer when you where driving and let off of the gas?Because mine does this now and I was hoping it was something like a grounding issue and not a bad alternator.

check your grounds for the lights, they may be loose or dirty

^^??

Before i had light problems when i releases the gas, no light dont dim at all, the car starts like nothing now also, were before it would take a sec to turn.

Was there an update for post-install?? I had the problem in my first '99 Contour and ended up replacing battery cables, alternator, and fiddling with some wiring to get the symptom to minimize. If/when it happens again in my two '99 Contiques I have now, I'd like to get it fixed properly.
dose it only happen when you start the car and then turn on your lights?
