I'm about to order some strut mounts and other misc. suspension stuff from rock auto, but im wondering if 1 quantity of strut mounts includes just one mount or both?

Also considering ordering the MOOG Part # K80113 which is an adjustable front strut mount with 1 deg adjustment of camber each way. Anyone ever used this (or even heard of it)?

:help:

1 mount is 1 mount. I just ordered a mount/bearing combo from them for my right front strut.

I don't have any experience with the Moog adjustable mounts, but if you've got a camber issue on these cars, you're likely to need more than one degree of articulation. I can vouch for the BAT kit, which I have on my own car. It has worked well, and allowed me to get the alignment dialed in to spec.

I've got Koni struts and H&R sport springs lined up - just wanted to have some form of adjustment.

What's BAT's shipping like usually?

If they have it in stock, shipping is very prompt.

Unfortunately if it's not already in stock, it can take a while. My BAT kit took a full month to ship because the items were backordered. However, they do not charge your card until the items ship.

oh .. duh .. yes.
My kit was $53 for shipping, it was a 75+lb package.
YMMV depending on distance and size of package.

I'm about to order front strut mounts, is this what I need?

it's the bearing on the left and mount on the right?? What about the circular piece thats on top of the strut housings (in the engine bay)? Do i need to get those?

I'm presuming you're talking about the upper spring perch? It's likely that you can just reuse it. They don't really wear out...they just get some surface rust, but you never see them

And yes, those are the mounts and bearings you need. I recommend SPICER. Others have said good things about them...

Okay cool, thanks. I ordered the spicer mounts and bearings.

The part I was wondering about is this one, I have a pretty big gap between my housing and the rubber part (on the other t-red contour).

You can reuse that. The gap is a direct result of the mount being worn out. Replacing the mounts will remedy this problem.

Mount replacement

HI:
Sorry to hi-jack this post, but I was curious about the same thing.

I have a small gap between the strut tower and mount, on my left front strut/ mount, and it is clunking.

To replace this mount do you just unscrew the screw at the top of the strut/ mount and replace the rubber mount, or do you have to use the spring compressor?

I am new to this and just want to be sure the strut doesn't go flying into the air?
Suggestions greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Jake.
