Need some tuning advice.

I have a '95 Ford Contour OBDI.
I dropped in a 3.0 duratec.
And I know that I am not getting the full benefits of not having this thing propperly tuned.
What can I do and where can I go from here?
We got the injectors spliced, and ran into the new wiring underneath the 2.5s hood.. but what else more can be done to see he full potential of this motor..
 
touch base with blu-fuz as he is doing the same thing at the moment. I do believe he is going to work with NPG to get a tune on a chip. what you need to do is get the larger injectors installed and get the car to where you want it to be before tuning it.
 
What "larger" injectors are we talking about?
I am running the 3.0 injectors spliced into the wiring harness.
Now don't get me wrong, this car runs pretty impressive but I know I'm lacking fuel and some other tunes.
Does the 95 Computer allow the 3.0 injectors pulse frequently enough, or let them open long enough or is the tune needed for this?

Any insight would be great!

sorry didn't realize that you where already using the 3L fuel injectors. did you build a straight or full 3L?
 
What do you mean a stright 3L or a full 3L?

The motor is full, all the injectors, fuel-rail, everything is off the 3L motor, and spliced into the 2.5 ECU

so you build a full 3L engine (or a straight 3L, how ever you want to refer to it) .... I was just checking as if you used the 3L injectors from an oval port with the split port intakes you are going to have fueling issues ...
