I knew when we put the timing belt on it, it had overheated before...well, it did again. No cel, the temp guage stayed under halfway... it all went in less than a mile from when I noticed noise.

hit me up for parts...I'll be putting a few in the classifieds, then the scrapyard. At least I'll be able to make almost double what I have in it even before selling anything.

Finn wheels f103, I don't think they are made anymore 17". One spoke is thick, one thin. You need open ended lug nuts for the cover to fit properly...the tires (general exclaims) only have about 4k on them & are great in wet weather I've found.

is that a stock suspension? What are you thinking price wise for the wheels?

True...

PM me for prices

is that a stock suspension?

yes, it's pretty worn...it was something I had planned on attending to in the spring, but I'll let it go cheap if you're diggin' the ride height :help:

Speaking of obituary...the blue car in the first pic still has the hose in it where the kid funneled the exhaust into it :(

I asked my dad about it, thinking I could use it as a beater...I quickly changed my mind :blackeye:

[/admin]Sorry for you loss PP.

What's the story with the blue car, did I miss it?

-Andy

I'm debating right now whether to put a motor in the trooper or spend the money on another car...trooper loves gas, but it's in excellent shape otherwise

that's my dad's bodyshop/towing...I saw the blue car the other day w/o knowing how he got it...he told me he was going to scrap it (I didn't ask why) when I asked if he could get the title, doesn't seem in bad shape. Then over dinner last night I found out that the kid killed himself in it. The hose he used is in the back seat & the passenger window is busted out where they went in to get him. Sad.

He had a van up there last year where the guy shot himself...that was a bad one. We see all kinds of stuff, not just wrecks.

The Kia Sportage I'm driving was an abandoned vehicle that he had to tow out of the airport when Bush flew in four or so years ago, because it was suspicious...noone claimed it, I filed an abandoned vehicle afidavit ($2) for the title ($4) & $6 later it was mine.

Every now & then he comes across decent stuff...

And this affects the drivability of it how?

Take the blue one.

that doesnt make any sense... I posted about it before you did.
I PMed her the day after the car died. PM wins, since it was directly communicating with her.
/hijack:laugh:

Anyways, I'm soory to hear about the loss, PP. It was a really clean car, especially compared to what it was:shocked:. Good luck with the Hyundai:cool:

i still have your svt mesh...

meh, pitch it

I'm briefly checking in, I'm on vaca this week & I'll get back to everyone next week. Thanks for the pm's

I am not interested in any contours or contour parts...this one is as good as dead & buried...'cept what I part out, of course

cougar s right?

not too up on the models, but someone from the long island neco had them and that's what i remember them looking like.

Yeah I guess you could call them S wheels.
basically the 17inchers that should have been on the S but ended up on the special edition vehicles because S didn't happen.
