In that place when your falling in a dream, and yo
Yes....my friends, thanks to you all, and the wonderful onslaught of knowledge, I have successfully cleaned my EGR passages in my UIM thus relieving me of the CEL! I'm very happy, and again, really....thanks to all of you who participate here...collective knowledge is an amazing tool.

I was pretty suprised to see how much carbon had built up in there, I mean it was pretty much solid. I then took it for a drive, about 30 miles total with a mix of city and highway drive and liked what I didn't see.

Oh, and I did the 3X flush on the tranny....wow, nice!

I have to do this myself. What was an intermittent CEL has now become constant and I'll have emissions testing this spring. It's nice learning to not shell out hundreds to a shop for something that is relatively easy.

Google image is amazing...

Not sure if there is a how-to, but you can find pictures of the ones that were being sold. I build my own at home depot though. All you need is an air tool filter, some barbed fittings and some more pcv hose to replace the tiny hose on the pcv valve now. I'll see if I have a picture of mine.

Pole120 used to make them and sell him. Try him if you don't want to DIY. The one pictured is insane. Someone went to way too much touble. LOL

Especially have a clear see through tube to help keep an on the oil levels

Great job though. I would buy that if he was selling it.

Years ago I had plans to build one like that. But the air tool filter is clear to begin with and ready to go.
