I just got the car back from the dealer with a new ECU. Its giving me a trouble code of

P1000 OBD-II Monitor Testing Incomplete
and all i get is a starter click like the battery is dead, i have it on a high powered shop charger in start mode, this thing will start a car with no battery.

anybody got a clue?

Thanks
Matt

got the anwser on ford-trucks.com

This is not a fault code. It is an indicator code that simply means all the self-tests have not been run yet since the last computer reset

I have to run it a few times and the computer will do a self check and give a pass or fail and the MIL can be reset.

now try to start it.

Also, the P1000 code pops up any time the battery is disconnected or discharged. You may continue to get it to pop up until you resolve the starter/battery/electrical problem.

Start by testing the battery. What to test next depends on what you find with the battery.

lol, I have had a P1000 since march when I did the 3L and then the turbo kit, consistantly swapping tunes out of the pcm. but I know by my scanner that only one self test hasn't run.

Got it started, the terminals were corded on the inside, cleaned them started right up.

After i started it a few times the light went out and lost the code.

Now my throughout bearing is leaking, brand new went in with the new clutch, 0 miles on it and i got to pull the engin and trans again! :blackeye:

Thanks for listing to my rants
