What should i ask for it. It has 127,000 on it. Mostly highway. No winters. Very few little things wrong with it. Runs great. I took very good care of this car.

It has been for sale for awhile and people just don't want it i guess. Or its just not a honda with a wing. I do love the car but i just have a lot going on and need a winter car. I have one project started and just don't have the time to make it what i want it to be.

It may not be that they dont want it, its that they dont know what it is really. You said you've been trying to sell it, but how serious have you been and what were/are you asking?

I'm real serious. It has been for sale for 4000 for the past few years. But am now asking for 3500. Yeah most people don't know what it is.

3500 is more reasonable. I paid just a tad less than that for mine with less miles from a family friend.

I agree. $3500 is probably realistic. Interior is pretty shot. Leather doesn't look like its been conditioned a day in its life. Spare tire and carpet appears to be missing. You have the undersized BOMZ intake filter. :troutslap: The body looks pretty straight though.

Damn....with how your telling the story, it isn't worth 2500

I'm just calling it like I see it. I know I'm critical, but at the same time I know first hand what an SVT can look like if its taken care of. Mine just rolled 128K and I drive it daily so I know what it can look like with some preventive maintenance. Some things on the car have been neglected IMHO. Even the midnight blue finish on the rear bench seems to be faded from the dog roaming around in the back seat. I know some like to think, "Well the car looks good for it's age" and I know most SVT's certainly don't look like they just rolled out the showroom floor these days, but simple things like cleaning/conditioning the interior on a regular basis to protect the leather and replacing to the spare tire and not throwing away the carpet are inexpensive things that could really boost the value of a car and probably only cost you $50 over the coarse of owning the car.

Okay...if you want some positives. This is what I see. First the carpet and floormats appear to be clean. From the pictures I don't see any heel marks on the drivers side floormat. Secondly, for 117K it has minimal dash warp around the bezel. I can't tell if it has the dash warp kit installed. Either way, it looks pretty good. And third, there doesnt appear to be a dent on the car and the paint looks pretty good. There doesn't even appear to be curb rash on the front fascia. If you replace on the interior from a parted out SVT and replace the spare tire/carpet, your easily looking at a $4000+ SVT IMHO.

Dustin, where are you located? If your looking to sell it, I might know someone that can take it off your hands.

I am in ohio near sandusky.
The spare tire is out of the trunk along with the carpet because i took it out just to take the pic. I have all that stuff. I have used conditioner on the car many times. The driver floor mat dose have a hole in it now. And the air filter is a K&N. Also the do is not running around the back seat all the time she just jumped in it that day with the seat in. Thanks for the info.

What all modifications do you have done to the car? Anything we should know about the car that doesn't work? How new are the tires?

Mark

You might want to look at selling it at several car sites.

cars.com
autotrader.com
cragslist.com

etc etc.

Put it in the newspaper put up flies you can do it, but you will have to work for the sale.
