Which colour do you think will go best with my rims? They are Alessio Fusion, 17". Hit a kerb the other day and scratched 2 of them pretty badly, so today I decided to fix the damage and paint them all, but metallic silver is so dull and I`m bored of that color, so which colour you think will look better? Heres some pics of the rims on the car, the one with the worst damage and the same rim later on repaired and already primered. I`m buying the paint tomorrow, please help me decide.

I have Charcoal EAP's on my T-Green car.
Your rims look good, thanks for the pic, nice to have a preview of what its gonna look like. But my paint is Juice Green nothing like Tropic Green.
You will like Gun Metal.
I do already. Love it. Tomorrow i`m doing the other 3. The car looked too "quiet" with them being silver. I hope teh new colour will change that. I`m actually thinking `bout respraying the whole car in gunmetal. I just hate that green pos colour.

no way man keep the green, its gonna look sick with those wheels on there. I think if you get your tails spray tinted and get some headlight covers that would set it off as well.

Nice, job. Your green is darker, but I figured it wouldnt Hurt. The only issues I seen to have is that there isnt much contrast between the wheels and the car. Also the fact that you have to be careful pairing colors with green not to make it look like complete arse. I love T-green for how rare it is, but dont because it limits me a little.

Nah, im not a fan of spray tinted tails, unless its black with a layer of clearcoat, but now I cant paint them black if the wheels aren`t, to many colours already and just want to keep it simple. About the headlights, you mean eyelids, or completely covering them? :) We`ll see anyway.

Yeah, agree, and thanks again. Green is a deffinite option limiter, your right. But that`s not why I want to change the colour, its because I`m a sucker for gunmetal, anyhow, I prefer it over any other colour when it comes to cars. It would be the same thing if my car was blue or black or red, or whatever :) When I bought the car, the paint was the last thing I cared for, because I knew i was gonna respray it one day, since there are no Mondeos with factory gunmetal paint. After I`m done with the wheels (and replace the calipers, those are off too, for cleaning and painting), gonna give the car a good polishing, and if it looks good, maybe, dunno for sure, but maybe i`ll keep the green. Time will tell.

You weren't kidding about hitting the curb, look like you were playing man to man defense with it. :nonono: The paint looks good, were you able to repair the curb rash?

I can't wait to see pics of them on the car.
They look awesome, but havent taken any pics yet as I want to polish and buff the car first, and its raining so I have to wait a couple more days.

Heh. Nope, no curb rash left. Primary goal was to refurbish the outer edges, not to just paint a damaged rim. There was a lot of sanding to be done and fiberglass bodyfiller was used to fill in the deeper pits that just wouldnt buff out, but I was amazed myself by the results, even macro shots of the repaired area reveal none of the previous damage nor traces of the repair process and the end results, just scroll down.

Those rims look great in Gun Metal!!! Nice choice of color :)
Thanks.

Heres pics of the whole repair process of the rim with the worst damage.
