its christmas time, so its a perfect time to get some car related mods from the rents. i've been lookin around ebay cause.. well u can get some good deals off there. i've found these cold air intakes, and reason would tell me that if its for 25 bucks, its a P.O.S. I just wanted to get input from some people.

heres the link to the intakes:

When i first bought my Svt tour i bought one of them intakes Theres garbage they dont fit very well look cheap and perform cheap.

how do they perform cheap? i have one and im just going to use it for the intake pipe. but i did have to drill a hold for the IAT

I don't know why everyone hates on these intakes. I'm sure there are some Crap ones out there, but I got one off Ebay and it's perfect. Fits, sounds, looks awesome. it even butts right up to the factory air induction deal on the fender. I like it personally...

yea mines fine, but i am going to get the ru-3530 and bigger maf adapter

I've got an ebay intake, I dont like it, The MAF adaptor is smaller than the MAF and the tubes kept coming out, spend the money and get a quality intake.

get the K&N mentioned and go to ssd4u.com for the MAF adapter...email them and say you need the adapter only...it's like 20 bucks or something.

I had no problems with install, i got ties for the tubing and everything was lined up fine. For 30$ what do you except tho, if you want to pay an extra 100 yea everything should be absolute perfect tho.

I'm glad this thread came up. I was about to ask because I was interested in intake pipe along with the maf adapter since mine has a stripped thread. I think I'll just use a thread repair thingie and wait to buy a better quality intake pipe.

There just cheap. There dont fit very well.Cheaply made.My always hang low and scrapped the fender were the filter sat. From the motor torqueing and the intake moving all the time.

you have to adjust for that. like making it shorter and such. but if you cant spend any more money than $30 it will work. just expect to have to play around with it. i got mine to fit into Pud's heat shield.
