im having a very difficult time removing my left foglight, the screw is stripped and theres not much room to drill it out or cut it or anything like that so im wonder how can i get my fog light out? ill im try to do is get the water out from inside the housing anyone have any ideas?

ahah thats was too much work to empty water out of the lense.

i thought about drilling a hole then siliconing it but i cant really get a drill in at the bottom

oh i didnt know that actually... maybe ill jsut do that, because yes im talking about the screw with the spring that is a huge PITA to get out i have to jack the car up just to get under it then use a long screw driving but i cant because its stripped, i think my bumper is coming off today then...

i havent even looked at it, what holds the bumper on? (id go look but im in the library of school right now)

A screw in each wheel well on the sides. Possibly brackets on the bottom corners but that was for 98's only. Umm plastic push screws along where the grill and headlights are. And the hardest part, IMO, is the two bolts on each side connecting the bumper to the fenders. Spray those with PB blaster before removing. I cracked one of the speed nuts on mine trying to remove it without any. You have to pull the wheel well liner out a bit to reach up there.

my fog lights are not held on by screws but by plastic clip thingys. the only screw is the one with the spring. that one was rusted to the spring thingy so i drilled it out and replaced it with a screw and a nut.

Pics?

I have a screw on the top and a screw on the bottom holding down the fog bracket that is really hard to get at unless you pop out the actual fog.

i dunno what going on with your car then ...

the fog lamps are in a bracket that mounts at the top to the bumper with 1 screw. then the bracket that holds the fog lamp is mounted to another bracket by two screws. this bracket is mounted to the bunper with one screw. then the screw with the spring is used for adjustment ...
