i think it looks perfect as is. just lose the GT badges and but a blower on it.
I'll leave the shakers to the Machs.
Very very nice Bullitt, one of the nicest I've seen.
It looks like you'll probably be realigning the rear exhaust, and on my Cobra I connected the pipes like a second X/H pipe and I loved how it sounded. Just a thought. Also, some of the Cobra guys polish those under IRS pipes, would probably look good with the polished wheels.
again, sweet car, I like more stang owners here

and BTW, watch mentioning cutting springs on here, there's some sensitive members :help: but I'm with you

Promise I won't rip on it.![]()
"We'll see" is certainly better than an outright no.
true. but u already have a bunch of cobra parts? whats an additional shaker?. thats cool tho. i just cant stand the fact that ford was too lazy to cut a friggn hole in mustang hoods to make the scoop practical. very nice pony regardless.
you know it's funny, when a friend of mine got a GT in 2002 I guess it was (it was before the terminator came out) we swapped in a bullitt suspension (as per rara's recommendation) and he loved it!Hey all! Just wanted to share some new pictures of my Bullitt.
I just swapped in an IRS from a 2004 Cobra on Sunday, and I LOVE how it rides! It's like a different car. She currently has 49k miles.
saw that stang while i was at basic back in Feb lol loved it. nice bullit
Amen to that. Four years post-production and those hoods STILL piss me off everytime I see one. :nonono:i just cant stand the fact that ford was too lazy to cut a friggn hole in mustang hoods to make the scoop practical.

I think he was oversimplifying the point, but I also think that it wouldn't take much to make the scoop functional and not completely ruin the aerodynamics.I'm not generally a fan of non-functional scoops, but simply cutting a hole in the hood under the scoop makes the aero on the car significantly worse, lol.
The IRS really makes the car feel more settled than the stock stick axle, doesn't it? Really makes the rear end feel flatter and more composed around bumps and stuff; it brings the rear roll center down almost 12".
