500HP 5.0 mustang..

This is my buddys 93 5.0 mustang, Supercharged pushing out over 500hp to the motor.Custom Flame job.Just would like some input.To let him know hes done a good job.There has been alot of time and money into this stang.Very fun to drive.Gets alot of looks.One best paint in 03 at the NMRA.
Will get more picstures of motor, inside.(ROLL CAGE..).Etc.

I have always loved the fox body stangs, and that's the last year fox too. Very nice condition, but I too think that the flames are a bit much. Nicely done, but a little less flames.

CEG has been down for the past few days couldnt get on i will have to get over there and get some pics.Its stored away in the garage but will get some pics still.

To each there own.I am getting some engine bay shots and some interior shots.Will post them tomorrow.Remember the 500hp is on a stock block with stock pistons cant get much more out of a stock 5.0 block it wont hold much more.I have seen many people with my set up blow up quick due to being a daily driven mustang.So my buddys pushing the limits right now.But over all its a fun to drive mustang.I will be posting pictures of my other friends 5.0 gt mustangs.

This IS the way to get flames!!! He has different shades too! Blue ones are awesome! Nice pics of Lighting, Big F350 or something, motorcycles etc! Saw him on TLC!
 
flames are either done perfect on some cars, or just terrible like on the posted link above, the car may be sweet, but wtf flames?!?

Heres the motor the stangs in the garage for the winter.I tryed to get some good photos but hey nothings perfect.Theres TrickFlow upper lower intake.TrickFlow heads.Big cam.Long Tube header.Vortech Superchrger pushing 11Psi.

not bad... not a fan of the flames either though. and 500hp at the crank isn't too big of a deal on a 5 liter.

not a big deal??, thats double the stock hourse power...so a 2.5L putting out 400 horses isnt a big deal? granted the 5L is a little easier block to work with, but still, give credit where credit is due
 
Oh i'll give some credit.But Honestly how long due you expect a 6cyl pushing 400hp to last.?It would take $$$$$.To make it push 400Hp and last.Now granted the stang is pushing the limits right now.
But when it comes to track times.hows that 400hp Tour running?The stang can run it in 10 Seconds.I Own a Svt tour myself Love the car but would never try putting 400hp to the motor Why not just buy a Mustang Camaro?Its mor Realistic with a v-8.Im not Talking down on anyones car So dont take it as i am.

WTF are you talking about? i'm ONLY referring to the 5.0 setup, not a 2.5....

i was making that kind of power in 1993 with a 5.0 and a stock short bottom end.

what i'm saying is.. all the 5.0 stuff has been done a ton of times. while 500 at the crank isn't too bad, it's absolutely nothing to write home about, and certainly nothing to post about if it's not your friggin car. everyone knows someone with a fast car.
 
Oh my god yes i know it has been done more than a million times but its always nice to see whats been done to peoples rides.I was just trying to get some info out about his car hes a good friend of mine and i have seen him work countless hrs on it.I dont see what the big deal is if you dont like the car then you dont like the car i do believe that 500 at the crank is alot for that car.

of course its been done a million times, fox bodies are everywhere you turn...and how long was the 5.0 in production? i had a 302 in my 68 stang the first year they used that motor in a mustang...and yes, very easy to add power to, but still 500 horse is 500 horse...if at the end of the day you are running 500 ponies under the hood, thats a decent day in my book and i was just saying that its has my respect...thats wtf im talking about

dude, i was on your side and i dont have 400 horse in my csvt...i was using that horse power as a comparison, please read again
