Pre-98 "Black" Mirrors

Hey guys,

Quick, newbish question. I know on the '97s (at least), the base models received black mirrors instead of body-colored. Are these mirrors painted (shiny) black, or are they that primerish color like the mirror bases?

No, they are a "flat" black like the bases are...

Most excellent. I guess the only other question is if anyone knows whether or not they will swap onto a 98+. I'm 99% sure they're identical if they're powered, but might have an extra connector if they're heated. Anyone done it?

they will have an extra connector on the side of the mirror if they are heated, but if your car didnt come standard with heated mirrors you dont need to worry about the connector.

pre98 mirrors will fit a 98+
