I finally started to put some miles on my new(er) SVT... she was basically sitting in my garage for the first 3 months!

I took the picture after a good 3 hours workout with Mother's wax, but before I got around and had my front windows tinted. Now it looks much better with them !

And 2 interior pics, nothing very original, the chrome gauge rings look very nice IMHO but we can't see them very well in the picture. Didn't find a Pre-98 console to put in yet :

And finally, a picture of my new acquisition :

60 000 sq ft of greeness and construction-ready terrain for the price of 2 SVTs heh. Only in Quebec you can find that!

Oh and while I was over there, I rode with my friend in is brand new Rubicon. But what a Jeep's good if it's only to be driven on the paved road?

;)

It's currently sitting at around 86 500 miles, I bought it in Michigan in March with 79 000 miles on it.

I'm originally from Quebec (Abitibi, northwestern part of the province, near Cochrane) but moved to New York for the job 2 years ago. The funny thing is, I bought my 99 SVT in Detroit a couple month before moving here, had it registered in Quebec the whole thing. I kept it here for a while with the QC plates but the AC stopped working and the synchros were due, so I sold it to one of my friend in Quebec City and got this one instead.
No mods planned for now, the car is running very well. I thought about going for 17" rims, but I still prefer the OEM look better. And just ordered 4 new Yoko Avid V4, so that won't happen 'till the next 30 000 miles! Maybe eventually the classic 3L upgrade and BAT suspension kit tho.

It's pretty rare up there too to get a sweet deal like this on that kind of terrain, but I got lucky, I bought at the same time as 2 of my friends. it's a couple hundred feets from the lake too. May sell it later for a profit, hopefully heh. Too bad I can't move back right now there, that would make for a sweet place to build :)

Haha I now Amyn ;) That was before my second roundtrip up north. I'm going to Quebec City next weekend, so another 1200 miles, but this time, with brand new Yoko Avid V4 instead of whatever was left on the rims. Next thing on the to-do list is putting some Ford Honey in the transaxle to smooth her out a bit.

Hope your SVT will get better! She'll be almost brand new after the transaxle swap heh, you'll have one sweet ride :)

Hehe no that was my 99 before I sold it, because, you know, it was all dirty, why wash it when you can get another one ;) It was up north in Quebec last February in my hometown, after the 800 miles ride to there. FYI Air Climatisé=Air Conditioned

And for good measures...this was my late CSVT.
Now that's what I'm talking about, serious, damaging, metal-eating dirtiness heh :D Good thing we don't have to put out with that here, else I'd have to buy another car for that, or say bybye to my rocker panels...

Thanks to all of you for your comments! I always preferred the T-Red/tan combo, if it wasn't for the mis-matching dash, it would be perfect heh. And the closest thing to my 95 Mystique interior, which was built much better and looked higher-class... if only it was the one fitted in the SVT!

And a special thanks (I know, I've already told him lol) to Amyn for swapping my Bassani with the OEM one. I probably sound like a old geezer, but the original exhaust is so much better to my ears heh. The ride from Detroit to NJ was enough to convince me!
