like the top says,my 95 had tc,i have no clue how it works, and what will happen if i bypass it?ecu wise i mean. anyone w/any knowledge of the contour tc system please chim in.

ummm..i'm talking about bypass the whole unit. the throttle cable doesn't go directly to the tb,it goes to the tc unit first. so the gas pedal has a really dead feel to it,i don't like it. but i thought i read somewere that if the tc unit is bypassed the ecu pulls timing or something?

why would the ecu pull timing, the tc in pre98s is a mechanical system .... your thinking post 98 ...

bypass it, install a none tc throttle cable. but a 95 has a completely different feel then a 98+ in how it drives and reacts. you actually need to hold the gas pedal down all the time as its not like the new ones where you can more easily coast ...
