i drove my car about 10 miles to help my g/fs dad move logs he cut down. when i parked my car i left my ignition and radio on, for about 5 min when i got back in the car to start it, nothing. finished moving logs went back to the house, came back to my car after about an hour and a half car started right up. drove it to her house watched the steeler game, when i went to drive home it started right up however when i got to my house (10 miles away) i shut the car off and tried to start it and again nothing. went inside for about 10 minutes then i went back out and it tried it again and it started. my question is could it possibly be loose wiring because when i went to help move logs i drove my car on a bumpy dirt road and through a field. i have no clue and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. thanks guys.

I guess your starter isn't turning the engine? One of my cars did this and it took some time before I solved it. The problem was a starter winding on the way out. When it got hot the winding opened up. Letting the engine cool down for 1/2 hour or more closed it and the starter motor would spin normally. I could start it if I got a jump off of another car.
