Soggy Carpet Blues...

I am so pissed off. I cannot find the source of my water leak when it rains. I know it's not the sun roof. I thought it was the doors but when I assessed it closely, the areas were dry while the carpet was wet. It seems to be wet in the middle of the driver and front passenger side and sometimes it makes it to the rear passenger flooring also. Almost exactly where the mats lie. Any suggestions???

Jack the car up and see if the floorboard has a hole. If not, spray the top of the car and if you can see water dripping in. Most probably from side door seals or passenger cabin air filter area.

I have the same problem in both my 'tours.
Where exactly do I look? From the inside or under the hood?

Thanks for posting that link. I have the same problem too and it doesn't seem to be totally predictable in that sometimes when it rains hard the floor won't get wet, but other times it's totally soaked. It just happened again a few nights ago and lately the damn car is starting to stink like an old pair of socks. Ugh!
