another a/c thread

my a/c worked last summer than started to work for shorter time period. I went to use it last month worked for 5 minutes than got hot . So today I found my recharge kit hooked it up to the low side next to the battery the gauge reads 100psi so now what ? something is not right but what?

Probably what Tony suggested, however, there are several other possibilities.

Check that first. If it doesn't pan out, c'mon back for more help.
