I've been running this setup for almost 2 years... I'm just finally getting around to posting pics though. Powersteering cooler on the left, engine oil cooler on the right. In a rush to make the parts work, I notched the frame in two places for the engine oil cooler fittings. I regret doing that now as I'm getting some short fittings that should clear the frame. I'm also about to replace the rubber hoses and 8AN fittings with steel braided and 10AN fittings.... and moving the filter to the passenger side. That will be much cleaner.... the hose mess has always bugged me. Also, one of the fittings on the thermostat is slightly leaking/bleeding on one of the hoses.

nice install.

...so that's what an 8 yr old AZ car looks like underneath

after seeing pics of #1900 :blackeye:

Sooooo nice dude, how much does it lower the temps? And too bad I couldnt do that on the silfro car, the fmic is kinda in the way

Hmm, I'd like more pics of the oil filter relocation personally. I'm still trying to decide if I want the filter over by the coolant reservoir with shorter hoses or over by the battery. And does it matter how high its mounted with regards to the pretty low stock location?

In the mid-summer... it lowered the cruising temps (with a/c on) by about 20*. The fans used to be on high speed all the time (~230-240)... now they actually slow down. Temperature recovery is also much quicker after I do not nice things to the car. I think the NPG upgraded fmic would still fit, but it would be tight. I was planning on going that route so I measured to ensure it would fit. Instead, I'm getting a used ADC kit... but either of those kits need the space where the oil filter is, which is why I'm moving it to the passenger side.

I thought I took some straight on of the filter adapter. I'll be moving it in about 1-2 weeks, so I'll take a bunch of pics then. I have the new short cooler adapters ($42 each :blackeye:) and a new thermostat... I need to order the other parts though. I put it on the drivers side as per todras's relocation howto (props back at you, todras :)) and because my mechanical oil pressure and temp gauges wouldn't reach the passenger side. I now have electric ones, so I'm no longer constrained by that. The new thermostat will be fitted directly to the filter adapter with a straight 1/2" NPT - 1/2" NPT fitting, and the adapter will be slightly (~1/4") lower than it currently is to accommodate that. It can't really be mounted much lower or it'll contact the splash shield.

I dont have the npg kit, I have a npg fmic but its the stage 3 one that Joey has, its too big to fit anything else in there!

When I transferred the remote from the black car to the red I put it on the inside of the driver filter.

I am able to have a skid plate with the SVT where the other car I couldn't. I didn't want to drop the skid every time I changed oil. That would have gone against installing one and having easy oil changes.

Where did you get the radiator piece for the oil...? I want to call is something else but I can't think of the name...
