Hella 2500 install + Small Photoshoot

So much for these, lens broke three days ago when I met with TX00SVT. Yay proburners!

So no one has got these aftermarket fogs not to break? I would love to have the fogs be clear like the headlights but I don't think it's even worth buying anything other than stock if they all break, especially with HIDs in my fogs.

HIDs should fix the problem. It is most likely a bad design, using a sealed lamp and thin glass. The glass heats up then cracks when suddenly cooled, which would be solved by a lower wattage bulb. Either way I have an email into AutoAnything about a defective return, that way I can take my money and put it towards some cheapo proburners.

I thought it was a vibration issue or something, lol. I wanted to get projector fogs from Pudmunkie but after all the stories I have read about buying aftermarket fogs I got scared, I don't want to buy new bulbs if they crack. If HIDs will prevent the lense from cracking then I can breathe a sigh of relief, LOL.

I have a feeling it is from the heat but the glass is not the most durable either. I had tons of rock chips on mine in a very short time.

I'm curious to see how long it would last with HIDs. It may be something I would do later on if it's more reliable.
