Axles (can someone identify this?)

They look the same to me. I say go with the axlesforless.

Just curious, what axles does your Noble use?

They're the OE Ford units from the 2.5L Contour. :D

The funny thing is, people rarely bust them, even with the amount of people running DOT-R tires and higher boost.

A friend just broke his though, so I'm looking into picking up new ones. Do you think uprated ones are worthwhile? He's only running about 400 RWHP or so, and torque is right about there as well.

Wow, thats weird...People in Contours sheer them all the time, but its probably because the wheel hop kills them.

So if it uses the Contour axles, that makes me wonder if the MTX-75 could dropped in without too much modification. I know Terry tried to get a quaife gearset made for you guys. The MTX-75 has had a quaife gearset made for quite some time now.

Upgraded ones? I only see one level of axles on that website. Personally, I think that axle is probably just as good as stock. I think your friend will be fine with that one. Maybe ask what kind of warranty they carry as well.

axles for less sells the GCK axles. the main drive shaft seems larger then the OEM shafts. but I would have to put them side by side to really determine that.

Yeah, the suspension geometry is not bad, they seem to launch pretty cleanly. It's also less than 2400 lbs, with about 61% of the weight on the drive wheels.

I'm pretty sure the MTX-75 drops in, since the old Noble M12 GTO & GTO-3 used that transmission. The 6-speeds were used from the M12 GTO-3R to the M400.

Thanks for the suggestions regarding the axles.

If those are GCK axles I would go with them. While there not "heavy duty" , they are new axles not re-mans and seem to be built well.
