Hey all, I didn't learn my lesson with my first two 'tours. Always wanted an svt. Looked at 3 before picking this one up, hard to find an unmolested 'tour these days. Really wanted the first one I looked at but the timing was off as he didn't have his new car. So this is the one I picked up.
One owner since new. All orig documents. #4355 Jan 5, 1998. Seen two winters (won't see this one ) 127000 km on the clock. Took it into fraser ford and they were impressed with the shape its in. I put new rubber on her 225/50/16 and am in the process of a new starter. Now onto the pics! (uninspiring driveway pics, i'll get creative soon)

ps...yes i know about the headlights (want hightowers) and the slight bumper sag, and no I didn't put the svt decals on. heh

Nice clean svt you have there. you will love the wy those 225/50's fill out the wheel wells on the car.

Thanks all, I actually prefer the E0's I think they flow with the smooth lines better, but thats just me. Maybe I can talk the wife into some FSVT euro spokes one day...

Was this one of the two in the AutoTrader? I was taking a good hard long look at the one having the original paperwork and rebuilt clutch/tranny.

Nice looking car any way. Not too bad mileage on it either. Hope it treats you well.

Ya this is the one with the new clutch/trans. Did you get out to look at it? The pic in the trader wasn't good at all. Went out on at wednesday night to look at it and went back thursday afternoon to pick it up. New clutch and rebuilt trans was the selling point.

No, I never did get down to see the car, but I was emailing the owner back and forth for a while. I would have bought it, but I found an SE that had about half the Kms and a quarter of the price. Yeah I know it isn't an SVT, but where I am at right now, I couldn't afford the extra expense. Some day...

The rebuilt trans/clutch was definitely a selling point for me too. Would have been nice to have all the original paperwork as well. Always nice to have those little bits that make up the history of the car.

Hope you enjoy it, take care of it and maybe I'll buy it off ya in a couple years.
