I don't know how people can own, much less modify, a Honda without getting the same silly feeling I get when I wash and dry a plastic spoon.

I love it when people put these piss poor quality body kits on their car then ask me what I think of it. I refuse to lie to them. So I tell them they should light their car on fire and then it will look cool.

You get that too....that "why am I doing this? I am never going to use this again...I have a box of 50 more in the drawer."

Yep. I don't do it that often, but think, "Dammit, this is a disposable item." Much like a Honda. I think my girl is responsible for it -- she will wash a plastic utensil from time to time. The other night, she'd washed some stuff, and there was one sitting next to the sink, so I finished the job.

I think it's funny when these ricers put on their bodykits and spend money to get them painted (or rattlecan) and then drive them all winter plowing drifts and scraping the paint/busting up the bodykits :nonono: Theres TONS of foreign POS's around here that look like that. It never gets boring though, somehow there is always one I haven't seen before to point and laugh at.

When I first drove through Wisconsin years ago, I was struck by two things: the scenic rolling hills, and the sheer paucity of foreign cars. I like that a lot.

I have another question about rice cars. Do they sell the stock wheels to fund the bush league modifications? Why is it that I always see some clapped-out toilet with a skirt and steelies?

They must sell them or take them to the scrap yard for money. I have seen some cars with stock rims that didn't come on their car (Acura rims on a Civic, etc.) Either way, there's not a whole lot of tastefully done cars around here. Makes me even prouder to drive my SVT because I actually get thumbs up from people!

I find that there is an indefatigable joy in driving an F/L/M product.
