this one actually swung into my wheel well and almost took out my end link, so i got to do a nice parking lot axle job. fun stuff. lol

just a 4-5 grand launch. bad strut mounts induce unneeded wheel hop. this one is number 13 since my torsen, kdw2s, spec 1 and the first with my new 94a front and rear roll resistors. i have a feeling full slam on ground controls changes the angle of my axles causing them to die, i didn't used to break them as bad with stock suspension. either way funny stuff. these ones were ford reman for dearborn rack and axle.

i pulled into parking spot, run in, punch in, get back in car, back up, drop clutch.

wahh wahh wahhhhh snap :) first gear destruction :)

Man, thats the first time Ive ever seen one snap there. I would say thats pretty likely caused by your suspension setup. Probably fatigued it over time.

Over 1 month? Sounds like a bad shaft to me. It's pretty damn hard to snap a shaft.

Then again you dumped a stage 1 clutch, on a stock axle. I would just own up to it and buy a new one.

dang! on a stage 1??? i dont do this often. but when i feel the need to impress some chick or friend, i burn some rubber, or do some high rpm launches. am i just fortunate i havnt snapped the axles yet? or is it just cos my tires suck?

To snap an axle you need a LSD (stock diff will shatter before the axle will) and then some good tires.

Quafie, Spec S2, 18" Falken Ziex ZE 512's, ST200 Struts, and H&R Springs didn't even get mine to snap.:shocked:
