I can't for the life of me figure out which fuse is for the sunroof.

I opened the sunroof all the way today and it won't close.

I've learned a lot about the sunroof motor problems, but I still can't find the sunroof fuse.

Any Advise?

I came across this post...
I'm working on what may be the same issue.

1998 Contour SVT
No power to fuse for Sunroof / Interior fan
Compressor clutch has not engaged in months, not much tried other than fuses and relays. Fuse 37 is cold. Never blown, but no power to fuse.
does fuse #37 - Heater Blower Motor also control the sunroof?
its the only thing I could think of thats called an "interior fan"

or Fuse #21 - Power Windows

no movement no noise

My old lady took my car to work today so I can't diagnose it but from what she's telling me its not making any noise when the switch is pressed.

I'm looking at the pictures and can't quite see where the manual overdrive is to close the sunroof...?

Because there isn't any. You'll have to remove the motor and crank with a some channel locks. Hopefully not damaging it. The plastic gear inside is stripped. Do a search.

Interesting...I just had the dealer install a new motor and all was fine until today...I left the sunroof in the up position to let the hot air vent out, and walla!!! no workie anymore..PITA sometimes never end with these cars.

How do you remove the plastic cover?
