Mid Ohio Emco Gears Classic

I went down to mid ohio for qualifying for the Emco Gears Classic yesterday. Got VIP access, pits, paddock, 4th floor in the goodyear tower (with AC!), various tours, and they screwed up my tickets and gave me tickets for today too! I got lots of free crap, had lunch with drivers of the car that my moms work sponsors....anyways I had an awesome time! After seeing some, I have decided I NEED CF valve covers :DROOL:

Here is the tower I had access to, it was stocked with food, drink, blankets, poncho's, free golf cart rental, walkie talkies to listen to the crew/drivers...etc

They also do the triple crown tuner challenege today. NewTiburon.com, Scion, and some prelude forum have their annual meet at this event as well. I camped all weekend last year, should have did it again this year!
 
Yeah, it was a blast.....had a great time!

I think this is the perfect spot for a CEG meet too, Im sure that is one expensive track to rent though!
 
WTH, I posted in the EGL section to see if anyone was going.....wish I would have known some fellow CEG'ers were down there!
