ok so as you all can see i am very new to the site and don't know if anyone has seen this or made a thread about it but i just have to put it up here so those who have not seen it! moderators go ahead and yell if this is a repeat thread but it is definatly worthy of being posted.....if you disagree then do what you do and make it disappear!

the new gt-r is dominating all classes of cars and is definatly one of the baddest cars this world has seen yet! and all for about $70K! so whos getting one?

If you read May issue of Road and Track than you already know that the gt-r domaniated the 911 turbo and z06 in every single way possible on the track. Well, edmunds did a comparsion with 5 cars which included the r8.
Just for the record that this car is a 4 passenger car and weighs in at 3960 lbs!!

Heres the video

all i want to see is one with over 1000hp.

anyone know if these have tuning limits? because thats what was so great about the old skylines, getting 1000+ hp isnt possible in most cars but you would frequently see youtube vids of them.

this 480hp GTR already beats everything, amagine with just like 200 or 300 more hp..... and then amagine like 500 more hp and this would be rediculous.

i am sure these are capible of 1000+ hp! i honestly don't understand why they wouldn't be....especially when you have money anything is possible!

i do recall hearing them say they squeezed as much power as they could, and that it wasnt meant to be tuned any further.
but obviously it will happen.

i saw somewhere that it's the computer systems in the car that are the most difficult to overcome in terms of tuning.

When the interview with Jay Leno took place the "commentator" guy said nissan had made it very difficult to make more power out of these cars.

you know if there is a will there is a way and they will do everything they can to make it what they want!

......ya i before columbus we thought the world was flat!

unless there's significant gains, or the owners are insanely rich...i can't justify any reason to void the warranty on that car.

Oh GOD ya! These cars are impossible to crack. Brace yourself for disappointment. Ryanblacksvt style:nonono:

You'd be really surprised. Ever heard of the modern HEMI? They're still working on breaking into the thing!

The car is a rolling brick wall.
