Bumper chrome gone...

Well, since my tour is 95 it has chrome inserts in the bumpers. These go bad and look like crap. Unfortunately these are obsolete and hard to come by. So this weekend it was time to strip that beat up chrome.

In the back I ran into a problem. Little black trim around got damaged so I had to pull it off and paint it without.

All finished. Now I have to wait for it to cure, polish it and wax it.

Looks good even without the polish and wax. I'm sure the finished product will be sexy.

It looks very nice... I am glad that mine cleaned up though, I would be too lazy to do all of that

indeed. Looks like a lot of work.

Did you spray some clearcoat too?
