Hey,

SO its been some time since I've made a post or been to a meet. I've been around the forums but really haven't said much. Trying to make a commitment to a meet is hard also. My schedule is always changing.

School is finally over for the year, I finished last wednesday. It was the hardest semester I have had. Took some tough classes but I managed to get though it with a lot of all-nighters lol.

I got to go to Michigan again for the Formula SAE competition which was awesome! We didn't do so well this year, couldn't get our motor tuned and ended up only running one of the dynamic events. But other than that we had a great car.

I am living in Derry again during the summer and right now I have 3 job offers, I actually have to decide today which one I'm going to take. They are all very good jobs which pay a decent amount, but its a really tough decision. I'll post which one I choose later.

Lets see, the Mystique is holding up pretty good, I just tied up some loose ends on little projects I didn't complete before and things that needed to be fixed. My car did have a little accident, but not while I had it. I lent the car to my dad and on his way to work while picking up the guy he commutes with he hit a rock, not knowing how low my car was. So the front air dam has a nice crack in it now. It is fiber-glassed back together right now, but it needs A LOT of finishing work. :help:

I am putting the Mystique aside for a bit while I rebuild my dad's '86 Pontiac Fiero. It has a seized motor, so I'm working on getting it out of the car right now. Its proving to be harder than I thought. We're trying not to put tons of money into it right now, because I'm mostly trying to pay for school.

And thats about it, wow that was a long thread. I'm sorry you had to read that.

multiple job offers - you're incredibly fortunate! I know someone who graduated this year from a prestigious school and has had many interviews with no luck.

The accident gives you reason to repaint the bumper with its rock chips :)

Thank goodness for the summer eh?
Good to see you're still alive. ;) It definitely has been a while since we last saw you.

Don't be afraid to pm a few of us locals to do a dinner meet up like on a Friday night or something.

Yah, I'll try and clear my schedule. July seems like it will work out well. The weekend of the 4th is going to be busy for me. Too many cookouts to go to.

I actually bought enough paint to fix all of the paint chips and cracks around the car, all I need to do is either 1) Buy a sprayer 2) Rent a sprayer.

I decided to take a job offer by a company called Seegrid. They are out of Lowell,MA, right off of 495. Its about a 35-40 min drive w/out traffic. Its a lot better than last years 136mi round trip commute lol.

Kim, that sounds like a good idea. We'll have to make a date soon!

long time no see!
congrats on the job offers!
and if you end up around here feel free to stop by or call anytime and we can get some grub or sumptin.
