Anyone from the Capitold Region besides me going to Ford nationals?


if so, PM me or let me know, maybe we can cruise up together or something.
 
Man i really wanted to but after blowing a water pump and overheating the car last month I don't want to take it on any long road trips until i get a 3L in there:cry:
 
I'll be leaving EARLY Saturday Morning, (like 1 or 2 am)..or whenever dad gets up..LOL. Monsters and Amps and Jones Energy will be my friends that morning.

I haven't heard any details about the Ford Nationals. Is that in Carlisle? If its this weekend, then I can't go cuz I'll be working all weekend at the Dover Downs races...OT, so it hopefully won't be too bad.

WTH time are you planning on getting there? Three/four am?

You really don't need to be there until 7 or so. Even at 7 am you will be there first one there from the CEG, I can assure you of this. ;) Nevermind, Lars is always the first one there, ALWAYS!
I usually get there around 8:30- 9, there is traffic, it moves if that's what you're worried about.

You are correct Frank. We just call it Carlisle but it is the All Fords.
 
meh, i'll be up at like 1 or 2, dad says we wont leave the driveway n junk til about 4 or so...

Okay thats cool. Thats what I thought. But that sucks I will be working. I've never been to the All Fords National. I've been 5 or 6 years ago to the All Imports :laugh: back when I had my Eclipse.

4 am or so, that's better. :)

How far of a ride is it from you?
Even if you get there at 8 you aren't going to miss a thing.

Did you know that you can wash your car at the fairgrounds? Once you check in and go through the gate you will see the hoses on the left side, in front of the restrooms.
You have to bring your own bucket, soap, etc.

im in dover, de so its around a 3 hr trip depends on traffic. and yes, i know about the wash station. I go to Carlisle for GM Nationals every year...


this'll just be the 1st time Ford Nationals. :)
 
That's right, I forgot you've been to Carlisle before.

I'm about an hour and 15 minutes south of Carlisle just off of 81. Thursday I'll be washing it, Friday waxing it up real good, then just quick detailing it Saturday morning on the show field. Already got the interior cleaned, vacuumed, and Armor All'd. I'll be going for my first Carlisle award.
 
Wrote you back. Yea sorry so late. Haven't been online all weekend.
I lost my clutch Friday...but luckily had the State truck all weekend. Now trying to find parts so I can get it fixed as soon as possible. Gonna haveta drive my gas gusler for awhile....
