Tune-Up and full wash...

It was a nice weather yesterday and after changing plugs, cleaning intake and filter, I decided she needed a wash. So here we go... It's a 95 SE with all options except sun-roof. Odometer just rolled over 215000 and she still runs like she just rolled out of the factory. What can I say, I love her, never let me down.
Mods: B&G sport on BAT struts, Drilled Brembo rotors with Bendix ceramics, BAT bushing kit, Filled mounts, K&N (in stock box).

Thank you sir. I try to keep the engine clean. That way once a month spray of diluted soap/water and a rinse brings it back. Quick spray of CD2 after it dries and it's back to it's like new look. Next month I will clay, polish and detail the exterior. It needs one, as it did not have one after winter. Callipers need a touch up as well. Seats are coming out next week too and the carpet will be shampooed.
 
Rock ON dude! Sweet car. Any plans? Nice BAT kit. Thought about doing that myself pretty soon.

and BTW guys, I think he meant 215K kilometers (ontario), so roughly 133K miles.

Either way, car looks mint, I do have to say.... is that B+G springs in the rear also? they sit up super high... are they brand new? I've never seen B+G springs that sit up so high, not like it looks bad or anything I just expected a little more slammed to the ground.

Yes it's 215000 km.
I put the springs on in April of this year and was quite surprised how high it was. The front was bit higher at first but settled quickly. I guess I have to toss something in the trunk and let it settle. I mean, I hope it just needs to settle.

where are you in sauga? im gonna be down that way this sunday. if you want i can take a look to see if there is a reason its sitting that high

I've looked already. At first I thought I put the mounts improperly, which seemed vary unlikely as I swapped suspension quite a few times. After checking everything over I did not find anything that could be causing it. I'll give it another month with a bag of sand in the back and see if it goes down. If not I'll be taking it a part to inspect closer. With B&G sports its 1.75" front and 1" back. Also keep in mind that those are 15" wheels. I have CSVT E1 rims waiting for rubber. That should eliminate wheel gap further.
Anyway, thanks for the offer. I'm Dixie/Lakeshore area, if I'm not busy this weekend I'll gladly meet up.
 
well i dunno id the bat struts sit diffrent or not...but i have the same springs and it never sat like that. and PM me your number or something and i will give you a call this weekend

I would guess its the BAT struts that make it sit like that. Seems like the perches on the BAT struts are considerably different than other struts. At least from the different stories/pics I've seen.
