Axel Replacement gone bad?

I replaced my drivers side axel because the cv joint was bad. Everything went smooth with the exception of getting the ball joint back into the hub assembly. I ended up putting the ball joint on the hub assembly and then put the hub assembly on the strut tower. I tightened everything and now I get a rubbing sound from the drivers side whenever I go over uneven road, turn right, or vere right. No visible rub marks... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I did search btw and I couldn't come up with anything...

It could be the CV boot making your noise. Try spraying the boot down with penetrating oil or something of the like and see if the noise goes away.

Update to axel problem

Update to axel problem

So someone suggested that I make sure that the ball joint was seated properly and it was. After that I took the tour to belle tire so they could check it out for me. The mechanic road tested it, he felt the noise but he could not find anything loose or rubbing. I ended up getting a tire rod end replaced and a four-wheel alignment. Still didn't fix the problem. He suggested taking the new axel out and replacing it. I really don't want to take the axel out agian but it is the only new part and the rubbing noise was not there before.... Is it possible the new axel could be bad?

if its a remann'd axle, it could be just crappy from the start. I've had bad luck with remann's, I recommend buying new GCK axles because they are so cheap and great quality (so I'm told)

Well at this point that is the only thing I think can be wrong. It was a re-man axel. I was thinking of taking the axel out and going back to the axel shop, but I only paid $50 for it and I don't want to take the chance of them giving me another bad axel. I'm going to look into GCK. Thanks.
