Can I just pick up the FRAM fuel filter from Autozone? Do I just get the one which is the same shape? LOL onder:

there is a specific part number for it, but it should be the exact same shape ... wal-mart even has them ....

Don't ever just pick one up based on shape, use the guides in the store and get the right one. And remember to depressurize the fuel system before changing the filter.

and mark sure the new one is facing the right direction when installing it...iirc there is at least one arrow printed on the filter indicating which way it goes

hope framms fuel filters are better fitting than their oil filter
