finally, the "new" pre98 trunk!!

ok folks, i was at work and bagged called me:
bagged: what up reddired! i saw a pre98 trunk you wantd.
me: hell yea! thanks man. i'm going to get that now!
me: Frank (branch mgr @ job), i gotta leave a little early, the cable guy is at my house early and i gotta let him in!
Frank: ok, well, I'll see you tomrrow
me: click, start, vroooom!!!!

what do u guys think? i know, i gotta wash the blue goose. plus there is a small paint peel spot on the "new" trunk. i gotta touch that up.

it looks pretty nice to me.....takes a bit of getting used to.

Well now I know what a pre98 trunk looks like with the 98+ bumper and lip spoiler. Looks pretty good .

Ford should have used the pre98 for all years of production. Are those rear disc brakes from the factory?

I plan on doing the oval exhuast tip too, only I would like one that looks more Merc C class.

98's still had disc brakes on the se's. coming along nicely!! i was gonna say that it needs less badging,but you already pointed that out.

As soon as I'm out of school. I had wanted to do it over spring break but it was too cold. Hopefully I'm going to do most of it myself... I'll be doing lots once I get out of school

i saw the seats. i'm gonna try to get them tomorrow. i'm actually gonna take the door panels too. they whr top notch. i hate the fabric theme thats going on in the blu goose now!:blackeye:
