Correct. Motorcraft (and likely others) offer the pads with the wear sensors. However, many cars don't have the hardware, so there's nowhere to go with the plug.

Just remember to enunciate the first syllable of each word. :crazy: Seriously, it is a messed up language. But it sure does sound cool when you hear someone talk in it fluently.
 
I don't know about the mondeo, but it's the mercury cougar who has the brake pad wear sensor, the plug some of the new pads, but if we contour people have to get the cougar pads, we just cut them off
