leaky moonroof

hello, i was wondering if you could help with my damn moonroof. anyway, when it rains and it is parked i always have a puddle on the passenger floor. i can actually see the water running from the rubber stripping where the floor plastic and rubbber meet. i believe this might be related to my moonroof because if it is really heavy rain, it also leaks from the top and onto the passenger side seat. i checked the seal around the door and that is in place and i also checked the seal by the firewall and that was in place. this damn car leaks so much, i also have a damn leak in the trunk but that is bearable for now. thanks for the help.

It might also be your cabin air intake - take the plastic housing off and see if the gasket is worn away by sand/dirt. That happened to me and my passenger floor was soaked after each rainstorm (no moonroof on my Contour). Just a thought.

thanks for the help. where is the cabin air intake? and what do i do if it is leaking from there, break out some sealant and seal the hell out of it? the water dribbles right from where the door and the plastic meet, you can see the "countour river" flowing from where the actual gasket/plastic/door meet.

last night, i noticed it started doing it on the driver's side but not nearly as bad as the passenger side. could it be the weather stripping?

Check to see if the drain hoses for the moonroof pan are clogged or have been disconnected from the pan outlets.
