i bought a updated cupholder and a b&m short shifter from teamSVTour p.s thanks love the stuff.. ive put in the updated cupholder but i havnt put in the shifter yet heres some pics

and now i feel like painting the trim(the black plastic trim)paint that red what you guys think??

Red and tan do NOT play well together.

I have always felt like painting interior parts was kinda ghetto, and it's what restless kids do when they can't afford to mod anything.

I say don't do it.

the only painted interior I have ever liked was silver on midnight blue, if you have a Silver/MNB car, paint the dash and door handles, other than that, leave it alone.
 
um if your gonna have it painted red at least paint it the same red as the car, otherwise paint it black.

In his defense, I think the cup-holders were painted red by the previous, previous owner.

And I'd consider taking that SVT emblem off the steering wheel. Other than the fact that it looks crappy, if that airbag goes off, you've got one dangerous projectile flying through the car...just a thought
 
yeah, that SVT logo on the steering wheel looks pretty bad. I'd contact parkedcar and see if you can get a little oval SVT emblem to go in that middle hole.

Like this but saying SVT:

That is correct. dannimarieiro was well aware it was red. It was painted red by the original owner. I pulled that cup holder and the B&M from a junker SVT.

In any event, paint it whatever color you want...it will still hold your cups way better than stock ;)

Get that B&M installed! You will definitely enjoy it.

thats a will do i just gotta repaint the cupholders but there awsome my drinks havnt fell ever since i got them:laugh: and as for the shifter just cant wait to install it will be in like 2 weeks and as for painting the interior im painting the whole thing and getting new seats to match + carpets, and im going change all the leds to red

If your ordering through matt r the leds are rather cheap. I have a full red setup ordered for $16.

ya but he just sells the bulbs??:shrug: and i tired opening a switch up let me say its not easy or maybe im just dumb but i dont kno how lol:crazy:
 
Yeah, you twist the old ones out and twist the new ones in. I had my cluster apart yesturday looking at how the replacement was going to go.
