The plug on the harness from my 1995 V6 MTX for the TPS sensor does not match up to the TPS sensor on my SVT TB. AND they spin different directions so I can't just put the '95 TPS sensor on the SVT TB. Anyone know how do get around this without cutting wires and grinding plastic of the plugs? Any info is appreciated :) - JOE

just make a jumper harness. or go to the yard and look for a tps sensor from a ford tha spins in the same direction as the svt but has the same connection as your tour. best bet would prob. early 4.6l's

I searched in the old forums and the archives and no one mentions this problem nor how to fix it.

When you say "jumper" are you reffering to splicing the stock TPS harness with the TPS harness from a suitable donor?

I am unsure of what the early 4.6l are? I am a motor dummy, sorry.

I do have a TPS plug from a suitable donor at pole's shop. I think that will be the way we go pending all runs well after the re-assembly.... :crossfingers:
