I am changing my stock rear swaybar on my 00 SVT to the BAT 21mm Bar. Is it recomended that I change the endlinks too? If so what size do I get? On Eiback website they have a bunch of different sizes. Also ordering wheel spacers so My Bear brakes can fit with FSVT wheels. Figure I'd kill 2 birds with one stone. Thanks.

I *think* you should be ok to get the stock endlinks. As far as what size they are I am not sure. Maybe someone who knows a bit more about these cars will chime in.

You will be ok with the stock endlinks. I got Stazi's aussie endlinks and they are awesome check out the difference...

I have Bradness's rear endlinks. They're nice and have grease zerts as well. Stazi's look good too... so if you go with either of them, you should be set.

they definitely both are nice but not appropriate for everyone. I've snapped a bolt... lost a bolt, shredded bushings... etc. Granted my uses may differ from yours but its just one more thing on the car you need to keep an eye on.

eitherway you are probably due for replacing them... Theres nothing wrong with the stockers.

I'm not sure what you mean. The Stazi or Bradness endlinks aren't appropriate for everyone? What are you doing that might be different?

I'll take a stab at what he was getting at.... Both Bradness's and Stazi's endlinks use heim joints. Heim joints are maintenance items, in that you need to regularly (4-6 months) remove them to clean the old grease to re-grease them. Stockers... you replace them when they go bad -- longer maintenance periods.

Someone might have a different re-greasing period... but that's how often I do mine. Roughly the same period you should re-grease your urethane bushings.

Any benefit to upgrading these?

And I just replaced the bolts linking the end links to the sway bar... should I be using lock nuts, or are regular ok?

They just stiffen everything up so the bar cant flex as much at that connection before it controls the roll, if that makes sense. Same thing with adding stiffer bushings where it connects in the middle.
