There are some very specific laws about impersonating a police office, especially when you are driving a 'show car' to and from an event.
The Light bar must be covered and the 'made to look like a police car white doors' need to be covered with vinyl

It should not be flashing red/blue lights either

Obviously this should be done prior to leaving the event, and not just outside once you spot the real cops......

Certainly made everyone laugh, except possibly the driver.

hey that's irvine, ca  ...grew up there from 13 yrs old til...nevermind

laws are laws, but irvine pd are a big buzz kill....there's not much in terms of major crime so they have to dig up what they can....usually pulling over the u.c. irvine students and tools like this guy in industrial areas

thats a nice new bike officer bird is riding

the guy is stupid for doing that but it is sad to me that those sort of laws have to be in effect so D-bags with intention of breaking the law can be caught. cool looking car just sad that it cant be driven on the streets. i understand the lights but having to cover up the graphics? that is sad. as long as the guy doesnt go trying to pull people over he is doing no harm. it could have even been for a good cause. sad just sad.

edit: even read the badge on the side of the car... "teen road to safety" how is that bad? it appears to be for a good cause. sad that there are rules to prevent good things:(

if you let him do it..even if it is for a good cause, then you would have to let everyone do it, ie terrorists and other forms of low-lifes. you can't pick and choose who to apply rules to. this is from a homeland security change, matter of national security, also applies for firefighters, which is how i know...2 1/2 years fighting fires:laugh:

true but sad. you have to admit it is sad that there are people who have to ruin things for everyone.

absolutoly agree, but sometimes it's better to ruin people's day like this than take the risk of letting someone else ruin everyone's ability to stay in one piece.

just another good reason to kill all the bastards that enjoy killing the inocent(terrorists)
